Real-time intelligence across a R56bn sovereign community economy
The RBN manages 150,000 people, R56 billion in net assets, 42,000+ seat FIFA-grade infrastructure, and a sports development pipeline touching 22,000+ beneficiaries annually. The Bafokeng Command Platform consolidates every data stream into a single, real-time intelligence layer.
Tracks RBNDT annual distribution alongside the sports allocation since 2018. The sports budget grew from R48m to R80m+, maintaining a consistent 9% share of the RBA allocation as total distributions climbed 73% over the period.
Education receives the largest share at 35%, followed by infrastructure (22%), enterprise development (18%), health and welfare (16%), and sports at 9%. Despite being the smallest allocation, sports delivers a disproportionate SROI of 4:1 mid-case.
The mid-case scenario projects cumulative social value reaching R5.05bn by 2034 at a 4:1 SROI ratio. The curve accelerates from 2026 onwards as programme maturity kicks in, with volunteer programmes and Jr. NBA delivering the highest per-rand returns.
